Grrr. I'm annoyed, because the one boy who I've been informed is madly in like with me was a total ass tonight. Never fall for someone with a coke habit, children, it doesn't make for much fun.

The girl I am sort-of-dating right now is addicted to Diet Coke...is that the same thing? She's a diabetic though, so I suppose that explains where she is coming from.

Wasn't there a thread a couple days ago about whether or not diabetics should drink a lot of diet soda?

And anyway, the coke isn't even the real problem with the relationship (or lack thereof), it's just a convenient warning sign that not all things are as they should be.

Here you go, Akiva. It doesn't seem to be a huge problem, just something that might be a good idea to cut down on in the long run, just in case.

And Austin, that's a good idea, it's just hard when a. He's one of my best friends here at school, b. The coke is a semi-recent development and it isn't a regular thing, and c. I'm a little bit in love with him. Hmm.

I believe drugs are a major problem, no matter how many times a person does it, or whatever drug it is. If he is a friend, and if you are in love with him, try to get him to stop it. Be supportive, and don't give him an ultimatum. I tried to get a friend to stop smoking weed like that ("It's that or me!") and he wasn't too happy.

I try to watch my friend's drinking habits, and I try to step in if they've had too much. Ivan's the reason I've cut back my drinking a lot. Ask around... I used to be able to paaartay, but now even the smallest shot gets me tipsy.

No, I know, the drugs are a big problem no matter how often they happen. Ugh. Whatever, we're both going home tomorrow, so a. I don't have to deal with the situation for a full month and b. he'll be out of the city and far from his dealer for a full month. Everybody wins!

And now... I feel like McDonalds is definitely calling my name. Back in half an hour, y'all.
