Bon matin, tout mes amis! *bises*
(that means "come on over here and put your pretty little head down in my lap, Taz").

Suzanne: I never use catalogs. I'd rather go in the store and see all the salespeople groveling and sucking up to you.
Julia: Pardon me, I never knew they were so solicitous at the K-Mart.

Translation (for what I wrote): Thank you, my friend. You're a very nice person.
Jaily, what you wrote does not mean that and you know it.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Well, yes, dear...*I* know that, and *you* know that, but HE doesn't, so let's keep it that way

morning everyone. Jaily how's your tongue this morning? Congrats on playing all that. I don't think, ok, I KNOW I haven't played that much in a long time, but it appears we play the same instrument. Have you ever played a contrabass clarinet?

Indeed I have, Polly. Both contra-alto and contrabass...I own a Leblanc paperclip-model contrabass to low C, and I'm contemplating getting a rosewood Selmer contra-alto in the next year or so, or possibly trading the Leblanc in for a rosewood Selmer contra-bass.
Not that I really need them, but they're fun to have. :)

Morning, Polly.
Taz, you might not know that much French, but if (or when) Jaily says to you "Voulez-vous couchez avec moi, ce soir?" think hard before you answer.

I played a b flat contrabass in middle school & an E flat contrabass in high school. That B flat was bigger than I am lol. They were both school instruments so who knows what they were, but I made it to State playing them. Probably because no one else in the state had ever seen them lol.
But I still have my little cheap Yamaha clarinet that my grandmother bought me. It's nothing special but it's mine. I remember having to go every week and make payments on it. Yeah we were very poor growing up.

Yeah, just like that, Taz.
Aren't they fun, Polly? The only thing I hate about them is how easily the mechanism goes out of adjustment because the rods are so very, very long. Bump it, and half the notes won't come out. Grr.
I don't play mine much anymore...too busy with the soprano horns these days. I just bought a new pair of Howarths (Bb/A) in Mexican cocobolo wood that should be here soon. SO excited! This will bring my total clarinet count up to somewhere around 15...I *really* need to get rid of some stuff.
D2, my joie de vivre and I say "milles mercis"! :-P (And I haven't even had my coffee yet!)

Yeah, the board acts up every now and then, Polly, and sometimes posts go missing. Technology, ain't it grand?
The predictable PQ mania over it's closing is at fever pitch on the main board, I see.
