Because in the past five hours, I have played the whole way through the Finzi Five Bagatelles for clar/pno, the Mozart Clarinet Concerto, the Copland Clarinet Concerto, the Albinoni Oboe Concerto in d min, Faure's Piece for Oboe and Harp, Morricone's "Gabriel's Oboe" (three times), and 10 etudes.
I had to suck on pieces of ice when I was done.
WHY are musicians such masochists?

I'm feeling good! It's sunny and 80 today (as opposed to 95 and humid like yesterday) which means I have the beach to look forward to after work!
