Morning loves!!!
D2 - I'm take a cruise to Bermuda, nothing fancy. This is my first cruise, and Buzz's third. And in the 6 years we'll have been together, we really vacationed much together. More apart than together, just because of jobs and life circumstances. So now we will take this cruise, and then next month we are taking a long weekend in either Cozumel or San Juan.

Taz, very smart.
Yeah, one of the performers from a show done here last fall is winning an Obie for her work, and I get to be the company rep because everyone else is involved in a benefit here. Woo hoo!

D2, it's going well...the building isn't even open yet and we're already over 80% sold. I wish I could do more of the actual real estate stuff, but alas, that isn't my job. I'm just the receptionist/office manager/exec admin.

Funny as it is, it's actually quite true. A large part of my job is not to let ANYBODY past my desk area, because this is still technically a construction site, and there are tons of legality issues, so nobody can go back into the sales area without first signing a waiver and being accompanied by one of our sales agents. People get SUPER bitchy about it sometimes...
Yes, DJ, I make more than a typical receptionist would, because my job is a sort of specialized mix of stuff that goes far, FAR beyond a typical reception job. Basically, everything that is not selling an apartment, I do. That's why they wanted someone who was a licensed real estate agent for this position...there's a lot of real estate-related stuff that I do, I just can't get any commissions or release legal information regarding closings/contracts.
The ultimate goal is to get hired to permanent status and be given a position in the sales team for the next project.
