scrubs are comfy, tho, girl...good luck!
Tink, I never had a sniffle of allergies until I hit 30...gettin' old sucks.
It does Doodle!!!
JAG - that's too funny. I worked at a Vet during my senior year! I loved it, except wait for when you have to put your first animal asleep, I couldn't sleep for days!
JG2--Scrubs are the most COMFORTABLE thing to wear to work. Good luck on your first day.
I love wearing scrubs - when D2'sJ2 was a fellow he used to wear them, and then we wore them around the house. Then we got old and fat and they didn't fit anymore. But they are soooo comfortable.
We have DRAWERS full of scrubs...that's what we generally wear to bed, or when just lounging around the house on a lazy day.
I still have a few pairs I wear when lounging around. Best uniform I ever had to wear, hehe. Wish all jobs could be like that!
Feeling any better Jaily?
No...now all my joints hurt and I have this weird shaky thing going on.
You're finally in detox. Praise Jesus!
No, that can't be it. I'm having a glass of champagne at my desk right now.
She's a little busy right now.
(Betty, stop bogarting the goddamn bottle!)
my favorite moment from a barbara walters special was when she was interviewing chevy chase about his addication issue. she pressed him on the subject and got him to talk about going to the betty ford center.
barbara was shocked when chevy told her that the place was awful.
"really?" exclaimed barbara.
"yeah, it was awful. betty stumbling around all over the place..." deadpaned chevy.
**pokes thread**
Anyone alive??
i am! Sort of...
Well, that is normal for you jaily!
Just got back from another reading - just stayed for the first act today. Long sucker. Not a show that is getting a full production, not yet anyway. Then I'm off to an exhibition this afternoon. Busy, busy, busy.
Morning all. How's everyone doing today?
I feel hung over after the emotion roller coaster last night...watching Elliott come full circle on Idol last night..and then my poor Suns succumb to physical exhaustion and lose by 3 and I woke up today to find Elliott on the Top 10 everywhere! The Suns come back from worse setbacks -- they are going to WIN the next two games and then the championship.
I hope everyone starts to feel better by tomorrow. I think it's funny, in a weird way, that all of us started to feel bad at the exact same time.
Jaily--If you are starting to get the shakes and your joints hurt, you might need to go to the doctor. I had that happen to me a couple of months ago and I thought it was the flu, but I had a really bad case of Strep throat and my body was reacting to it.
Good evening... to anyone who may be hanging around!
Regarding ailments - I usually find that if I'm feeling ill then at least two of my friends or my mom is feeling the exact way. It's insane.
Right now allergies are running rampant and some of my coworkers are going through the sniffle stage. It's not fun. :-
Anyways, I have a question for you all [and please be honest] -
I'm thinking of making an art thread...because I've never really shared my artwork with this particular group. The problem is I'm not sure if it would be
A) Appropriate for the off-topic forum [as it is mostly play/musical related stuff]
and
B) The reaction it will get. I mean, I show a portrait I did of Alan Cumming to my friends or my mom and they love it ... but I'm not certain if would garner the same or similar reaction here. Or maybe I'm too damn self-conscieous over my drawings.
[edit: I guess it would be wise to show an example of my work;
I did a better version of this drawing for a final project in art...but this one is fairly decent.]

I think it's a lovely idea, PM, and I for one would love to see your work. Go for it!
Oooo, me too! And that is a great drawing.
Thanks, guys. I think I may try and if I get crap for it, ah well.

I third what they said. I would love to see your work.
Nice drawing PM, but then you know I am about AC.
