Hey Boobs! Take care of those feet!
D2--I may bring the blue eyes back. We shal see
Boobsy--Go get a strapping young chap to massage them for you. I bet that would make it all better. **wink**
DJ, I'm sure he'd love for you to volunteer.
Hi to you avatarians!
Our fingerprints don't fade from the lives we touch.
Puppies are babies in fur coats.
Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
Of course Girly I wouldn't turn DJ away from giving me a foot massage, but he'd have to do my neck too.
Just your neck?
Aww, Linnie, I'm sorry to hear your exam went horribly Don't let it make you hate playing the instrument, though...it's not the clarinet's fault!
*yawn/stretch* I REALLY should not have taken two Benadryl AND NyQuil last night. I am a groggy MESS this morning!
Look sharp, Jaily. You're representing millions now!
And isn't this, like, your week?
Not sure what you mean by that, but it's my first week there alone without the girl who trained me, so I'm kind of nervous about it. *bites nails*
Off to the office...I'll check in later, kids :)
You'll be absolutlely fabulous.
**does a cheer for Jaily**

So, no one wants the coffee?
I'm at home, because the work I had organised for the nest fortnight at an architect's firm fell through. I'm trying to make the best of a bad situation by making a start on a concerto I promised a friend of mine we'd write over the next couple of weeks. Otherwise, I'll be eating myself silly.
Taz, what ails you?

Oh, and no, I'll never hate the clarinet. I just hate how it sounds when I play it. Or at least try to play it.
Good GRIEF, I'm busy today! *mops brow*
I have a person who wants to me to fill out an application for a counseling job for adult ed people who are about to go out and look for jobs and try to get their lives in order. It's not really want I want to do, but it's $12-13 a hour (my last job was $10.50/hr) and the person who is responsible for hiring someone for the position is a mother of someone I know, and she really wants me for the job. Like I said, it is not really something I want to do, but at least it may be something for the time being. Keep your fingers crossed for me!

Could you help me get a job?
sounds like me dj... trying a new job for the time being.
Are there any music majors in this thread that can tell me if D6 is the D above the staff? Or on the staff.
DJ..my best friend from college does that..she loves it !!!

I'm not a music major, yet.
But is it a chord or what?
The actual note on the piano. D in the 6th Octave. Oh wait, the sixth octave is the one above the staff starting with A. I'm a baritone. There's no way in a million years I'd be able to sing the D above treble clef. Look, I just answered my own question.

Ah, see? A bit of thinking gets you far!
I'm shopping for sheet music online for my audition Thursday. The only let you view the first page of the interactive sheet music. So I certainly don't want to order anything out of my range. But, I'm narrowing it down.
Not While I'm Around- Sweeney Todd
Johnny One Note- Babes In Arms
If I Never Knew You(Solo Version)- Pocahontas
I Am What I Am
So what's going on with you linnie?

Every dog on the street knows I Am What I Am, do something else.
I'm stressed, and yet I'm not even working. Bored, too.
All of my song choices are pretty popular. I've coming off of an obscure stage. , I will eventually find the right balance.

Why have you ruled out Anthem? It hasn't got a very big range, and it's an easy ticket. I use it myself, not that I go to many auditions, but I do use it. There was a thread about Anthony Warlow's version of it and Warlow in general.
