D2 -- I caved in, I should have been strong and insisted Flipper go to school (but I didn't) and as I predicted -- she went to gym (but only with prodding from me).
But frankly, she is really freaked out about this tonsillectomy -- and nothing on her feels right physically or emotionally. The surgeon really came on strong and said it would take her up to a month to be at full strength again -- poor thing is an emotional wreck and almost feels like "what's the point" because this is her training time for level 6 and now she is all panicked that she will fall behind the others. At times like these being a parent sticks.

Sorry I haven't been able to play, but it seems they thought it a wise idea to give some of my co-workers the same days off so we've been short staffed....hence I get to do more work..yay !!! I didn't get that job I wanted - the band went with a singer who they already knew who happened to come available before I could even get a second interview. But, there might be more spots for singers there in the fall.
I'm temping now, long-term, it's okay.

I really and truly don't want to go onto any campaigns right now -- feel a change is in order.....looking at Development Coordinator positions with a Sojourner Center (local women's shelter) and the ACLU -- either of which would just be awesome.
