I hate people. We're moving and were supposed to close on the old house Wednesday. Now the buyers are trying to back out of the deal because they don't like what the inspector said. Gee, you mean a 25 year old townhouse might have some problems? Go figure.
It's so aggravating, because they want it as an investment property, yet don't seem to want to do the "investment" part. We have worked with them every step of the way - agreeing to their bid which was $5000 less than our asking price, agreeing to an early settlement so they get a better mortgage rate, offering to set up an escrow account for the repairs. What more do they want??
end rant.

Oh, you should have heard me yesterday Jaily. I think I went through the seven stages of grief when our realtor called us up with the news.
I can't decide if my shining moment was the juvenile "Fine, we don't want to sell to them ANYWAY" complete with foot stomping or my brilliant idea to go through with the transaction and have the dog pee everywhere in the house before we move.
Thankfully my husband is the contact for the whole process. I'd probably be in jail if they let me talk.

Chico - So sorry to hear about your troubles. My old co worker has gotten close to a closing 3 separate times and each time something happened to cause it not to happen. She is completely bummed! i really hope everything works out with yours!!!!
