Then what is it to do with? Linnie, what are you saying to me?!

I'm saying I can't do blind casting.
Getting better, Amber, thanks for asking. But I now have this like monstrous zit on my upper lip...cause the physical pain I have experienced the past few days wasn't enough!
That's a coldsore. I have one upper and lower. The lower one is much smaller and healing quicker. The upper one is disgusting and painful. I can't wait to perform tomorrow with this mother preceding me into the room.
hmm, I usually get them inside my mouth, never outside. Interesting, thanks for the knowledge. I'll have to get some OTC stuff for it or something.
Inside are canker sores. Outside are coldsores. They come from stress and/or really bad colds. I think canker sores are definitely more painful just because of their location, but everyone can see coldsores, so that makes them worse to me!
But lin, I'm pretty sure Audra doesn't have any major vision impairments.
Cold Sores, Canker Sores
Cold sores, which are also known as fever blisters, are small sores which appear on and above the upper lip, the corners of the mouth as well as on the face. Cold sores are very common and can be spread easily. They are a viral infection caused by the herpes simplex two virus. There is no cure for cold sores but they do eventually go away.
When a cold sore is about to appear, there will be a tingling sensation in that area and then redness. Then the cold sore will start to form as very small blisters or these may group together and appear bigger. The third stage is the cold sore becoming a red sore which is most noticeable even by those who have never had a cold sore. These become painful blisters and are very contagious. The last days of the cold sore mean healing and a brown scab may form over the area. If this scab cracks open, like any other scab, it may cause bleeding to occur. The cold sore goes from brown to yellow in the final stages of healing.
Canker Sores
Unlike cold sores, canker sores appear inside the mouth. They can appear on the inside of the lips or the cheeks, the base of the gums or under the tongue. They are shallow and painful and may sometimes have a white coating. Those who are most susceptible to canker sores are women and people in their teens and twenties. Canker sores can run in families but they are not contagious. While doctors doe not know what causes these canker sores, they may be triggered by stress, bad diet, allergies to food and even menstruation.
Good dental hygiene where you brush your teeth after meals using a soft toothbrush and a toothpaste which does not contain sodium lauryl sulfate together with flossing every day can help to keep your mouth free of food. Try not to eat spicy and hard, crunchy foods as well as chewing gum as these can cause mouth irritation.
Canker sores usually go away without the need for any treatment but if these sores are large and painful, making it difficult to eat or drink, and last longer than two weeks then it is wise to seek medical advice. Another cause for concern is if these sores are accompanied by a fever or nausea or they frequently recur.
The Differences
The main difference is that cold sores appear outside the mouth and canker sores appear inside the mouth. Cold sores are caused by a virus, which will remain in your system, and are contagious. Canker sores on the other hand are not contagious and will go away in time.

Cold sores are awful.
Actr, don't try to make me a racist.
Actr, did you see her on The View yesterday?
JG, did you see the photo coverage of SITPWG opening night? You might want to check it out.
No I heard about it after the show was already over! I've seen her on there before, but I was kicking myself for missing it.
Definitely check out the SITP opening night photos. A certain someone was there and looking stunning!
Of course. WireImage had some up Thurs night and they were circling. *Sniff* She's heading back west this week. Damn prime time network gigs.
Audra was funny. She talked about how she never got recognized before Private Practice and that it is taking some getting used to. She seems lovely.
Haha. I'm so glad she's finally getting some mainstream recognition. I mean, if there's anyone that deserves it, it's her. I'm suddenly getting comments on my photo with Audra on Facebook going, "Wow, you met the woman from Private Practice!" It just makes me want to **headdesk**
She first came to my attention in the 1999 TV movie HAVING OUR SAY: THE DELANEY SISTERS' FIRST 100 YEARS." She played younger Bessie to Ruby Dee's older Bessie. Later that year, she was in Disney's ANNIE remake. Thus, I knew her as a TV actress first. Granted, I wasn't into theater at the time.
Yeah, after I saw Sara last week, one of the girls walking out in front of me said, "Man, Callie can sing." My friend and I just shook our heads.
I just saw a chick I knew back in Tennessee on a commercial for a new series. Crazy stuff.

So I just rolled out of bed now...
...I'm definitely crazy...
To quote God, "Welcome to the World... "
Not THE God, but MY God.
Shia's barking now, which means he's getting better!
I'm exhausted. I've been sleeping most of the day. Ivan got off work early and he's cooking me lunch.
Mini chicken katsus anyone?
Cold sores are a form of herpes.
Yes, taz, thank you, I'm aware.
Someone always has to say it though. :P
I love you Rath, you know that!
There is no cure for genital herpes.
Or for lip herpes, for that matter (what my friend calls "stress herpes". Once the virus is in your system, it stays and recurs.
