I don't really want any pictures to remind me of this. It'll be an adorable picture, but with the cast and the collar, its so upsetting.
I don't want to rouse him, Robbie, or I would. It takes him a while to get comfortable. I wish I could take the cone off, because that's what gives him the most trouble.

Yeah, I remember when my big dog had to wear a cone and a cast. His nail was ripped off somehow or something like that. And they had to operate on his leg. So they put a cast on it! I signed it! I love my big dog!
How did Shia break his leg?

We've been trying to make him stay off the bed, because we know it isn't safe. Thursday, Ivan tried to grab him, but he jumped. Shia broke it when he hit the floor.
Usually, he dives under the bed, which isn't safe either. He's hit his head a few times.
We thought about putting the frame in our spare bedroom, and putting the mattress on the floor. It's kinda trashy, but at least the bed won't be as high and he won't be able to hide underneath.

Well, he just needs to be scolded more. I know you're probably doing that!
My little dog jumps on the bed a lot. And my parent's bed is pretty damn high, but she manages. I'm surprised he broke his leg when he jumped off! Maybe you should consider putting something under the bed to prevent him from going under.
I remember once, my little dog was a lot younger and I was carrying her and she began to fidget until she fell out of my arms and on her back. I freaked out, she started yelping and whimpering, and ran away from me, it broke my heart. But she was fine. It was just a scare for her.

We didn't know what happened. He was wailing and there was a lot of blood. After examining his mouth, we saw that he bit his lip and one of his canines had fallen out. It was already loose.
This is going to be the longest month of our entire lives.
