Well, they only got two weeks' notice. Not even. I give them a pass.
I'm just surprised at how quickly it flew (Best Actress arrived earlier than I expected), though they did drag the last few awards.

it ended at least 20 minutes early. But there was no Thalberg award this year.

I loved the montages. They were great.
Yeah, they should've done a salute to musicals.
Enchanted should've won. That bit from Once was so effin' boring. They should've done more with "Happy Working Song", but all three performances were great. Jon did a great job.
I'm upset that Depp didn't win, but eh.. he'll have more chances. Colleen Atwood should've won.
I already have my Oscar speech written and rehearsed for whenever I win. It'll be soon, I promise!

I noticed a tattoo, but I couldn't tell what what design was.
Seriously. I'd kill to write the Sailor Moon screenplay. I loved the cartoon as a kid. There's even a photo of me somewhere dressed up as Tuxedo Mask. Rose, hat, mask and cape.
Except its a blanket, plastic rose, my granddad's brown fedora and one of those cheap black masks.
I can't believe I let my mom take a photo. I had to be at least 10.

The protagonist of Sailor Moon is Usagi Tsukino, who lives as an ordinary middle school girl until she is found by a talking cat named Luna. Through Luna, Usagi learns that the world is about to be attacked by a Dark Kingdom that had appeared once before, long ago, and destroyed the kingdom of the moon. Her dormant powers are then awakened to defend the Earth against the coming onslaught, and she is led to a number of friends who join her in the battle.
Usagi fights using the identity of Sailor Moon, and as the story progresses she learns more and more about the enemies which face her and the evil force that is sending them. Gradually she discovers the truth about her own past life, her destined true love, and the possibilities for the future of the Solar System.
Its a bit more complex than that - but that is a generalized plot.
