My mom saw it tonight.
She said it was really good. But then again, it's my mother. I'm sure she loved it cause it takes place in NYC and she loved the clothes they wore.
I have no desire to see it either. Never really got into the show.
I do however want to see Hellboy 2
Well, YEAH.
have you seen the new trailer?

It kicks all kinds of ass.

I'm being dragged to SATC tomorrow night, kicking and screaming! I mean, I have a date.
BTW: I haven't seen the first HELLBOY. Is the sequel a continuation, or would it matter if I didn't watch the first one first?
You don't need to see the first one stagey, but you should just b/c it's so damn good!
harris, just relax. Everything will work out for the best, it always does.
I agree. Stagey, watch the first one.
Harris, what's wrong?

Just got back from Sex and the City! Well, I got back a few hours ago and then sat in the car talking with my bff (not about the movie), but anyway, I'm here!
I was really pleased with it. The reviews that have said that they're clearly not trying to win over any new fans are absolutely right, and so if you don't like the show, I would NOT see the movie. But as a fan of the show, I'd say they brought it to the big screen admirably and I really enjoyed it. It wasn't a great movie in and of itself, but in conjunction with the show, it just... felt right.
What if you'd never seen the show?
I just couldn't care less about this movie. And the PR blitz is freaking all-encompassing.
There's enough of an opening montage to bring you totally up to speed, Stagey, though there are a fair number of minor characters whose roles you might not totally get without having seen the show. So... you won't miss out on much, if anything, not having seen the show, but it might help you get into the pace of the movie (although it was much more... cinematic, I suppose, than the show).
Anyway, what I MEAN to say is that your enjoyment of the movie would definitely be enhanced by being a fan of the show, but that's not a prerequisite, it stands on its own quite well.
im going tommrow night, that is if i can sleep

I have moved. Can I sleep until the fall now?
I just finished the first week of my new job! I'm tired. My legs hurt. But I haven't felt this good in ages.
I wish it gave me more time to write, but that's okay.
I've missed everyone!

It took me a bit to figure out what this meant! But I got it (she's scared to call the boy-crush )
All I can say is, you have an army of fairies sitting on your shoulders - you'll be fine! Just be yourself, and have no expectations.

I called him, and left a message. I found out from a friend that he likes me. Or so he said when she probed him in match class. Sop we'll see.

DGG - I'm now going to quote one of my favorite silly movies (that I don't admit to many people that I like) - WIN A DATE WITH TAD HAMILTON:
"Just guard your carnal treasure, that's all I'm sayin."
