Thank you for that fine piece of advice, DG! I'm honored to have received it.
Recital went well, by the way. Fun stuff.

You beat me to it - glad the recital went well!
And by the way, if you haven't seen the Tad Hamilton flick, Topher Grace is as cute as a button in it - and Josh Duhamel is . . . well, Josh Duhamel.

I do love Topher Grace. It looks like a cute movie.
I hate leaving messages. Then I have to wait for a return call, and its nerve wracking.
I just got back from finally seeing "Sex and the City." It really was just what I needed. My outlook on everything suddenly feels very different for the first time in quite a while. I feel hopeful again.
I watched The Golden Compass. Loved it.
"Finally" seeing SATC? It just opened yesterday! "Finally" would apply to, oh, "I just got back from finally seeing SWEENEY TODD."
I guess time moves a lot faster in actr's world than in ours, D2.
Perhaps, Austin.
How're you holding up?
I just finished my first week at Euphoria! I feel amazing.
Euphoria for a week? Wow. I'd be happy with 30 seconds.
of course u loved it tazzy, it had polar bears
I still can't decide whether I want to finally finish the book of Golden Compass first, or just give up and see the movie. I started reading the book years ago and for some reason or another got distracted and haven't picked it up since.
Akiva
Seeing the movie definitely won't change your experience with the books, Akiva. It is a pretty darn good adaptation, considering time constraints and the obligatory watering down of anti-Christian (and it stands on its own well as a movie), but the books are just a whole other realm entirely.
Taz, I saw the Hellboy 2 trailer at Indiana Jones tonight (the movie itself was LAUGHABLY self-parodic), and I actually really want to see it, which surprised me. It looks kinda kick-ass, and I'm a little bit obsessed with Selma Blair.

Oh boy...high school production of Millie...heinous.
"of course u loved it tazzy, it had polar bears"
harris: That. Was. Good.
that was good harris, didn't even see that one coming. The comment I mean.
Sam, I just can't bring myself to see Indy either. For some reason it looks too silly to me.
It was just... wow. I don't want to give away the plot in case people really want to see it and haven't yet, but I'll just say that if you do see it, wait for DVD. Actually, if you pay for individual DVD rentals, still don't see it unless someone else is paying for it, only get it yourself if you're on a Netflix plan or something comparable.
Just check it out of your local library. It's free!
Unless you don't return it.

I bet stagey knows what that's like
Sam, is it bad that I loved the Indiana Jones movie? I thought it was quite entertaining. I sort of want to see it again...and by sort of, I mean really.
I saw The Strangers tonight. It was pretty good.
