I love Canado too ... though I've never visited eastern Canada except for Niagara Falls. Only western BC for me so far.
I'm so happy to say that we're going shopping today! It's the first time this year we've been able to go.
My aunt lives in BC. Practically on the border.
I have been to numerous major cities throughout the country.
I have yet to visit the prairie provinces; Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, and Northern Canada. Maybe some day.
My great uncle and aunt own a ranch in Calgary. Some of his property was used in OPEN RANGE.
Calgary is where I am right now (and where I grew up). Sort of wish I was back in my apartment in Toronto though, since the weather is gorgeous there and ****eous here.

I just sent in my $500 deposit! BILLY ELLIOT RULES!
*dances out*
It's so nice outside I almost don't care that my new haircut is quasi-mullet-esque! I'm going tannin-I mean STUDYING down in the park.

Ooh. I want to see your mullet!
My brother was trying to grow a mullet for a while. I think all the females in his life forced him to have it though. Hah...I sort of wanted him to grow it out so I could see what I would like like with it.

$500 deposit for Billy Elliot?

Haha, nope! $500 for college.
The Billy Elliot was just me squealing my delight at they're casting of the three Billy's. Sorry!
But if I had $500 to spend, I'd spend it on Billy Elliot. Really, I would.
That's what I thought ...
I remember that when they first announced Billy Elliot for this year it seemed so far away, and bam! Here it is.

I've been waiting and waiting! When I saw the headline this morning I nearly fell out of my chair. This is the only musical I've ever really looked forward to like this.

My voice teacher teaches this 12 yr old (I think she's 12) who's in Gypsy right now as the Balloon Girl (She was asked to come in for opening night when Sami got injured). She's in the finals for Billy Elliot...haven't heard back from her yet. She sings in our master classes, she's so damn cute!
How's everyones afternoon?
My afternoon went much better than expected.
It was the last day of directing class (today) and my friends decided to go out for our last BK run. Once we got into my car, it was aptly named "the last lunch" because I had the Godspell cast recording by my CD player.
Which, by the way, is amazing when blared up to high volume and you have someone singing along with you on "All For The Best".
I hope all of you lovelies are doing fine!

I'm attempting to finish a response paper for my Cuba class, but it's not going very well. Hub said something really hurtful and it made me so mad, I'm having trouble concentrating.
Cuba class?
Oh, no! What did he say?

Was he being mean?

Ugh, it's not even worth repeating. And he didn't intend it to be so hurtful - he just wasn't thinking. But it did hurt my feelings and now I'm just angry about it.
And, Kas, I'm taking a Cuban-American literature class this semester.

Well, I can kick his ass if you want. I took karate in 3rd grade.

Oh, don't worry. I already offered to do that myself. I appreciate the offer, though.
And thanks, Robs.
