I've been in 2 earthquakes since 2002. Both in Illinois, both so mild most people I know didn't even know they happened.

I don't think I've ever been particularly close to a natural disaster. However suicide bombs I have narrowly escaped a few times...but thats part of childhood in Israel, sadly.

I thought I was in an earthquake once. Turns out I was just drunk and they were resurfacing the pavement outside my window.

Being from Guatemala, I've experienced my share of earthquakes. Some scary ****. Especially for a child. They used to warn us not to run 'cause then the ground would swallow you. I guess that was their way of maintaining chaos.

I really thought I was in an earthquake once, but I didn't hear anything about it on the news. I don't think earthquakes only hit a few hundred square feet, do they?

Man, that tornado we had last night did some heavy damage. I've never even seen one before!
It wasn't here at the beach though, a little farther inland.

Oh, yea I'm fine. But the damage was pretty severe.

My throats feeling a little weird. You know when you fall asleep and the air is cold and oyu wake up and your throat feels weird? It feels like that. It may be just the cold air, we'll see.
