Oh.
Well, then maybe I do need it, Taz.
Tink, I didn't see it on the adult thread - sorry.
Yes, I'd love to! Anyone else we should invite? Like Stagey?
But none of us are regular, Tink - we're all highly irregular.
So see, Stagey, you ARE invited.
Then I'll do my best to be on good behaviour as well.
Shut up, Stagey.
Yes.
*laughs*
oh boy....lets end this discussion before it really begins!
So D2 - I read 'The Matchmaker" on the plane out to Vegas. I loved it!! I also read "the Homecoming" which was one f'd up play. Should make for an interesting experience to see it live. I am now half way through Ragtime.
Just one moment, Tink. I meant irregular as in contrary. And how dare you accuse me of such a sinful act!
taz, I was suddenly reminded of this FG clip:

Isn't THE MATCHMAKER delightful, Tink? You should try to see the movie now, with Shirley Booth as Dolly and a very young Shirley Maclaine as Irene Molloy. As much as I enjoy HELLO, DOLLY!, I think THE MATCHMAKER has a lot more heart.
I've never seen a professional production of it, but I've seen several community theatre productions that were uneven, at best, and yet the quality of the text always kept the productions from being total disasters. And, as I said, the movie is a charmer.
