I don't recall the coroner (only seen it once and nearly two years ago), but, yeah, that was pretty gross (even for me) about the body parts.

He does both, but mostly docs. He just had Rescue Dawn in July which was a feature starring Christian Bale.

Looked up RESCUE DAWN on IMDb ('cause I'd never heard of it) and it says that it's based on Herzog's own documentary LITTLE DIETER NEEDS TO FLY. From the brief blurb I read, it looks rather interesting. The original doc, too.
