theres also supposed to be a partial solar eclipse on Sept 11th. of course, some people are having a field day with the idea that the eclipse is occurring on the anniversary of the WTC attacks.

We're about 50 miles East of Downtown LA, so even though there's a fair amount of light pollution, it's not as bad as being in the city proper. We actually CAN see some stars out here

I caught the eclipse on the news as I was getting ready this morning, but there were clouds in the way by the time I got outside.

Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

Yesterday I tried reading the third Thornton Wilder play I had since I had enjoyed The Matchmaker so much and though Our Town was ok. "The Skin of our Teeth" - ????? I only made it through a few scenes and I was like WTF. So I switched over to my Tennessee Williams book and read Summer and Smoke before I went to bed. I really liked it, so I start Orpheus Descending today. I really want to catch an actually production of Summer and Smoke now.
