Ragtime auditions were today. I did okay, I'm just happy that I went through with it. I'm proud of that. I don't think I'll get in, though. But, the experience was worth it.

Ack, I LOVE Ragtime! I hope you make it! If it's any consolation, I had to audition for voice lessons last night (ludacris idea, really), and sucked major (excuse my language) ass. It was probably the worst I've ever sang, because it had been so long. But I somehow still got placed with a teacher, and they ended up cutting 7 other people. You normally do better than you think. And we're all proud you went through with it, too.

I had my first voice lesson with my new voice teacher tonight. He's actualy the husband of my old voice teacher, and he's taught me in lessons before. But it was still exciting. My lessons are gonna be a lot later now though. I used to have them right after school. I was all warmed up and stuff. But ah well. I'll live.

She decided to go back to her old job of teaching at a special ed school. She used to do both when I first started with her. But then she stopped and only taught voice. Then they just had this huge influx of students. Then they decided to open a theatre company and had no time at all. She just dropped all her students. And he took a few of them. So I guess I'm lucky. It was a shame though. I loved her!
