Speaking of DHP etc., have you ever seen the episode of Frasier when Frasier tries to write his own theme music? It's hilarious.
The opening is a fanfare, to be played with 'More Majesty, more Grandeur, and with a soupsome, or Awe!'. It's brilliant. And Niles has a monologue through it; 'We shall unlock the vaults of the layers of the uman subconcious, to which one man holds the key!'. They did, however, cut paragraph 5, a light-hearted lampoon of the mental healthcare system...
The rain we knew is a thing of the past -
deep-delving, dark, deliberate you would say
browsing on spire and bogland; but today
our sky-blue slates are steaming in the sun,
our yachts tinkling and dancing in the bay
