Well, I'm off to see LOVE MUSIK. Have a fun night on the Chicken Run thread.
HAVE FUN DEET!
hey kids. Just woke up from a nap. Waiting for the boys to get here and the go out. Don't I lead a fun life.
I just came home from a 10 hour workday on a day I shouldn't have been working and played the entire Mozart Clarinet Quintet standing in my bathroom.
Trust me, there are bigger losers than you out there, honey
You heard about the worm that woke up late? He died from starvation.
My advice: Don't wait for the boys. There may be nothin' left.
aww, jaily but we love you!
I was actually hoping to go out alone with Buzz this evening, but I guess I wasn't high on his priority list! **hair toss back turn**
aww tink. if it makes you feel any better i haven't been out out since i came home. i think i went to dinner with friends one night. that's it. talk about not having a life.
I just noticed that like 5 of my posts have been deleted from various threads this week. I must be on some watchlist or something. Cool!
Welcome to the club. I haven't posted pics since I was on the watch list. Of course mine were shirtless pics of Cena and The Rock, but still.
and these posts dicussing it will no be gone in a few.
*blinks*
this thread is... dead tonight.
*blinks again*
I'm back from seeing LOVE MUSIK. I liked it - it has moments where I thought it was going to completely implode, but it managed to pull itself back together mainly due to the incredible performances and that glorious music. Everything that has been said about Murphy, Cerveris and Pittu is true - they are all giving performances that will become legendary. Now having seen Ebersole, McDonald and Murphy, I really can say I'm glad I didn't have to choose between them all 'cause they are all brilliant in their respective roles.
i *hopefully* get to go to the bbbaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaallllllllllllll!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I just returned from visiting my ailing grandmother. (I know, I'm such a nice boy.) We watched THE QUEEN and I must say I enjoyed it the second time around. I saw it in theaters back in December, but I fell asleep. (I blame it on personal matters.) Anyway, I appreciated Mirren's nuanced performance all the more and the inside politics surrounding Diana's death/funeral. I also love the symbolism of the stag (how it represented the queen herself) and Diana's legacy as the Roman goddess of the hunt. The scene where Elizabeth confronts the dead stag (in essence confronting her dead image) was priceless. At least, that's how I interpreted the film.
ok, let me help all of you out. I have not been out with just my husband in well over 3 years maybe 4. Ok it's been so long that I can't remember the last time I went out.
i still haven't seen that one Stagey. Maybe one day... when I actually have time to do something other than study.
ok boys, i need dress ideas. ball's in november, only have a few months to find a gown. and it needs to be not too expensive. but i still have to look hot.
know anyone that can sew middy? At least that way you are guaranteed that no one will wear the same dress. Is it the Marine Corps Ball by any chance?
I definitely recommend it, polly. Put down the knitting, the book, and the broom. :)
How about this little number, nighty:
yes it is. and my mom can sew, but it's more fun to go and try on gowns.
Do you want something shorter, like a cocktail dress, or something more like a gown? Ugh, I love dressing up.
In other news, I'm officially in lust. *sigh*.
Middy- sweet! I never ended up going to the ball. My hubbie was a Marine too. It is fun to try them on, but I used to love having an original. My grandmother was a seamstress.
Stagey- I can't *whine* I have to pass all of my classes to be able to renew my student loans in the fall. and I have to get done with all these freaking required classes so that I can start my theatre classes because if I don't... I'm gonna go nuts. And I'm gonna drive everyone else there in the process.
And JAG- honey you can't just let that drop and not give details. SPILL!!!
