He came over, and I made him dinner(Alfredo Pasta and Stuffed Mushrooms) and we watched The Devil Wears Prada and Music and Lyrics.

We got into some really heavy topics. I don't talk like that with people often. It was nice.

So what happened tonight? On my side, I got stuck on the subway for a good 25 minutes going home, and then another 30 on the way downtown to the meeting place, finally arriving around 7:50.

This is why I hate organizing these things.

I had two Tanqs and Tonics anyway with George M. And then we met D2'sJ2 for dinner.

I loved it. I said that already, about 3 or 4 pages ago.

And for me the real revelation was Laura Benanti, not LuPone. LuPone was as expected. I felt, like a lot of other people, that Laura Benanti may have been miscast, but she wasn't - she is, next to Natalie Wood ( and possibly Crista Moore) the best Louise I've seen. The production, well, it's GYPSY! It is still, as one of the original reviews stated, "The best damn musical in years!"

Did you crazy kids have a good time? I really missed you guys, but I must say I had a GREAT time tonight. The night took so many unexpected turns, but it just made it that much better. Saw a lot of peeps I haven't see in a while, I was fawned over (which one can never complain about), and then went to a club dancing with some of the boys! woohoo, and I am still home before Buzz, lol!

morning DGG. Morning anyone else that is here. Coffee's ready. I'm not sick DGG, but I'm gonna be mainlining coffee for the next few days. I need to get this weeks work finished and a head start on next weeks since i'll be having my oral surgery on wed. I haven't been under general anesthesia since i was like 1 years old so i'm actually getting a bit concerned.
