ok background: we have a friend who is out of work. he & his wife are older and she has some health issues. they lost their house and ended up storing all their stuff in our garage. their own (single mind you)daughter refused to let them come stay with her. so they went to alabama to stay with their niece. well he rode the bus back out here and has been staying with us because he had a bunch of interviews lined up here.
Last night, he found out when he called his wife, that the niece is kicking her out. in like 2 days she has to be gone. well he was going to send her to stay with his brother, but we (hubby & i) decided that we'd bring her here. she's afraid of dogs, so we are already building a fence for for the dogs so that she can stay here.
I can't believe that anyone would kick this sweet old lady out on the street. Soapy, you're in Alabama right? want to kick some butt for me?? lol jk
it wasn't really drama on our end, it was just a rush to get things situated so that she could come here
