Seriously.. the best way to fix a hang over is to have a shot. The hangover is caused by withdrawls.

Austin: what did you end up doing?
I didn't get drunk last night, and I had a great night too! I mean that isn't to say I didn't drink a lot, but I ate so much that it didn't effect me at all. My companion for the night however...she was a different story. She was dancing with a child of a neighbour and dipped her, but she was so drunk taht she lost her balance, dropped the neighbour's kid and to top it all off fell on top of her.

Hangovers are not caused by withdrawel. The hair of the dog only delays the inevitable. Hangovers are caused by a couple of things:
-Certain impurities and toxic chemicals contained in alcoholic beverages. Darker liquor has more of these. The rule of thumb is the darker the liquor, the worse the hangover.
-Secondly, alcohol is a diuretic. This, in conjunction with the bodies natural need to get rid of those toxic chemicals is a recipe for frequent, and excessive urination. The more alcohol you drink, the more water your body loses. Your liver and kidneys need water to process the alcohol, so when you lose water, your body struggles to rid itself of toxins.
As far as a cure, don't take acetaminophen (a.k.a. Tylenol) because it could damage your liver if mixed with alcohol. Ibuprofen painkillers are considered a better choice.
No coffee or caffeinated drinks. They're also diuretics and will make your dehydration worse. Plus you'll be wide awake to feel the added pain.
The only proven cure is a few ibuprofen, a little food, a lot of water and a lot of rest.
