I am drinking Pacifico.

Things are wildly bad out here in Zona. Rabid Sheriff run amok. Hapless Governor who seems more lost than antagonist. State legislature that cut more money from the state budget for education than any other in the county....for the record we were 49 before the Jan 30 emergency cuts to the FY09 budget now we are 51st. No lie. FY 10 looks to be worse.

Q, the rumors of my demise have been grossly exaggerated.

Just same old crappy hack life struggling between campaigns cycles to exist and continue to fight to the good fight no matter how crappy my own life is. But I have a new plan ...starting Sept I will be getting a M.A. in Social Justice and Human Rights --in the meantime continue hang in there til I find a campaign or political organizer position for the 2010 cycle here in Arizona, have an interview as Field Director with a very liberal Democrat running for Superintendent of Public Instruction in a couple weeks...it would be an awesome opportunity.. winning a statewide election for a liberal Dem would certainly boost my cred....but there is a miasma we call the state legislature -- and goddess knows if we don't win we're all but dead as a party in Arizona once and for all.

However, if things don't go our way....it may be time to hang up my spurs once and for all and move to a blue state.

And my back up if things don't change in about a month is to enlist in the Army National Guard.

The munchkins are doing okay.

And I met a guy, which as luck would have is, is the director of the Master program I am enrolling in....so as seems to be my destiny...timing is everything......I am still single and
My celibate lifestyle is currently running at 5 years 5 months and 6 days....

My New Years resolution were to quit smoking and start dropping in here more, the first one is blown to hell but I still hope to achieve.

So, tell, me, how is everyone on the Av thread doing?
