I'm up early to write a paper. Blech. I don't feel like relating events of my personal life to the subjugation of women in the workplace!

I'm in work hungover after an amazingly funny night out... it's really sunny though and i wanna go outside and play =( stupid 9-5 job.
How could you, NotScott?
I didn't, actually. Instead, I mentioned discrimination briefly and then just talked about myself a lot!
So you wrote a paper as if it were a post on this thread?
Except I mentioned discrimination, so it was topical!
Discrimination from a Chelsea perspective?
Exactly! As a white male from the upper middle class, I am being violently oppressed by everyone I meet. It's tragic, really.

I highly doubt that anyone in Chelsea is discriminating against you, NotScott. Or oppressing you.
Unless you request it.
you guys have slowed down. Do I need to bring some more speed to this party?
scamp! when did you get back in town? I thought you were still in Nebraska.
thanks for calling and telling me you were back. :-/
I got in last night. I ended up being re-routed to Dulles airport.
I did call Ari though, he was supposed to give you the message.

Happy Tazzy Day, everyone!
Happy last minute of taz day! I didn't miss it!
thanks sweeties!
How is everyone tonight?
I'm still shellshocked from witnessing the theatrical equivalent of an abortion last night. I hope Mary Stuart tonight will be better...

I just got back from the Adam/Anthony RENT tour. I have no words as to how amazing it was. Plus, I bought a signed playbill (for BC/EFA) directly from Ms. Gwen Stewart and didn't fall all over myself talking to her. Life is good.
I'm curious what notScott saw Friday night.

Tinfoil...The Terrorizing Terminator
I don't want to say, because I feel bad talking crap about anything in this economy, plus it's currently in previews at New World Stages (a big hint), plus... actually, that's it. And, in retrospect, I can definitely name things about the production I liked, which is SOMETHING, and it's not like my bad review will stop the hordes of New Jerseyans from going and hearing themselves mocked ineptly, so I won't say anything more than that I walked out of there so shell-shocked I a. was driven to drink and b. literally wished I had brought my lighter so I could burn my Playbill.
That's the first toxic thing I've heard about the show, NotScott.
I've seen several clips from the show from various sources and I have to say that it looks appropriately campy, but I am disappointed by the score which is actually boring.
I haven't seen it yet, but I have a friend who is in it. So obviously, I hope it's a hit.
I saw it at George St. Playhouse last year. Nothing spectacular, but I enjoyed it enough. I did find a few of the songs boring, too. Deet, do you know if they're making many changes? Was your friend in it at George St.? I haven't paid attention to the casting, obviously.
