I just came back from doing that myself!
Hey what did you decide about that job you were talking about?
I am in a holding pattern with two organizations...it's most frustrating.
I didn't take it - the money was too low for the hassle it would have entailed.
Humpf! Fine.
Guess it would be quite stupid to blow my GPA this late in the game eh?
YES..c'mon you can do it..make us all proud.
Sounds like a good thing... I really wish I could expand my job hunting outside AZ, but I fear I am stuck here for a few more year...which makes the whole grad school more even more appealing, sooner rather than later that is.
Fine. I'm going. After all -- this paper is only 50% of my entire grade. *L* No stress there.
See y'all later.
See ya lata..do a good job.

Hey all! Half way down the board, not good, guys!
What news bring ye?
hey vm....it's been awfully quiet around here lately.
*bounces happily about* I think I'm getting a new pair of clarinets for my audition!!
no euphemisms, please...just them what they are.
I'm assuming you'll be bounces on those clarinets, Jaily?

Why do you need a pair of clarinets? Can you play them at the same time? Hmm? HMMM? Actually, god knows how much you can fit in at the same time at this stage...
lol...silly. Orchestral clarinet players always have onstage with them a Bb clarinet and an A clarinet. (It's also helpful to own a C clarinet, and an Eb clarinet is pretty essential, too.)
I just two days ago submitted my resume and a preliminary recording for the principal clarinet spot in the Pacific Symphony. *nervous*
The clarinets I'm looking at are hand-built in the UK (there y'go, Linnie!). They're fecking gorgeous, aren't they?

I know about Orchestral Music and the different kinds of clarinets, Jaily. I was just trying to pull a joke. And, considering you have 19 clarinets, I would have thought you'd have an Eb, C and A already.
I do have an Eb (no C), and an A...but my A clarinet is absolute crap, and will NOT do for a professional audition.
I have a doo-doo-do clarinet.
you rang?
Not a doodley-doo clarinet silly.
See when I finish my roll of Clarinet...I take the cardboard piece it's been rolled around..put in to my lips and blow and say Doo-doo-dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo
Hmm, Pacific Symphony does not sound like it's based in the tri-state area...
A certain Deeter called me from the airport - he's home, safe and sound and will come say hello later this evening - yes, it's Deeter again, he's no longer Dieter! WOOOOO!!
"put in to my lips and blow and say Doo-doo-dooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo"
I'm guessing you startle a few of them with that routine...
lookout Jaily...sounds like Boobs is talented as well...hope he doesnt steal your job with his doodley doos.
Pip..some have been known to have a heart attack...or as my mother would say "take a heart attack".
Doodles...I like that name for a group..The Doodley doos.
Is this one still active too?
I'm getting confused, but let's blame the jet lag.
Pacific Symphony?
does that mean you'll be bicoastal?
