Hahah I hate to break it to you, Robbie, but what you get at CPK is a few pumps of Torani peach-flavored syrup in your lemonade, not peach juice (although I'm sure that would taste good too, and CPK flavored lemonades are still ridiculously awesome.

I'm supposed to be doing yardwork, but it's raining. I'm so... disappointed? Cough... cough.

Ahhh! First big theatre awards show of my career tonight! I'm excited and keeping fingers crossed for my shows as well as my mentors and friends in the industry! Plus theres a fancy after party after to get my schmooze on.

Speaking of fun, I'm leaving tomorrow morning for three days at the beach with a bunch of gay boys, then immediately taking off for Fourth of July in NYC. Yay!

This is the big birthday weekend here. My sister and I are on Wednesday, then my dad on Thursday, and my brother Friday. Then, I'm off to NYC for the day on Saturday. Coffee, anybody?

Morning all! Hah...didn't win any awards last night sadly, but I had a hell of a good time. What surpised me most was how in such a representation of the Toronto theatre community...I knew so many people! It was awesome to just celebrate the past year, which was a difficult one for Toronto theatre, with my peers, colleagues, collaberators, mentors and friends

Also the whole night I kept chickening out talking Don McKellar (writer of Drowsey Chaperone, and star of Slings & Arrows to you Americanfolk), since I was standing right beside him the whole time...but my nerves got the best of me.

It's not really meant to be a "horror" movie kc. Haneke's films are always dark, probing, and immensely disturbing. This is an English version he made of his own original German film.

He's definitely an acquired taste. And this movie is
Disney-lite compared to
this movie
