I don't think there is anything objectionable for an 8 year old. the thing I would be afraid of is her attention span. she may not get all the nuances and the fashion world stuff.

Yeah, it may be a little hard for them to follow at times, but it's not innapropriate.

It's really a PG movie. Not even the usual level of cursing in the office. the "-13" part here is baffling, unless it's heavy moralizing about someone having a one-night stand in Paris.

I would think it would be fine for an eight-year-old in terms of scary/moral... but I think she'd be pretty bored.
