I am so saddened by this but at least he's not in pain anymore and at peace. My thoughts go out to his family and friends. Rest in peace, Mr. Newman and thank you for leaving us with a legacy of brilliant work.

Angela Landsbury, Bernadette Peters, Laura Benanti, Raul Esparza and Steven Pasquale will be featured at the Sept. 15 annual gala benefit at the Westport Playhouse. I have to admit that the person running his myspace fan page does a better job then his website at keeping us up-to-date on info. I read on a bulletin this morning on his myspace page that The Homecoming was nominated for a Drama Desk Award before I even saw it online! They are good! His website hasn't even updated the info that he has been nominated for an Outer Critics Award which happened a while ago.

I think thats a GREAT idea! He doesn't have a fan-based website and besides, even though I love the layout of his official website, it's not updated as often as it should be. I see pics of Raul at events, etc. all the time on Broadway.com and on here and they show up on his site 2-4 weeks later. I'm NOT bashing the site - I think they do a nice job.
