It's supposed to be 20 degrees here tomorrow with snow.
I really don't mind the cold at all actually. As long I have warm clothes on at all times, it's all good.
Plus, what would sledding be without snow? Really.

It's very cold on Long Island. We has some snow flurries yesterday while I was out for my morning walk.
right now I'm sitting near a roaring fire and have a batch of blueberry muffins in the oven. It's very cozy here.

It's a gazillion degrees and yet I'm feeling cold(?) and I'm listening to Megan Mullalys annoying voice in "Please Don't Touch Me".
Why am I listening to this musical?

Posted: 11/19/08 at 10:13pmI spent the day outdoors doing some gallery hopping in Chelsea. Not good-the wind made it much colder than it was supposed to be.

Posted: 11/19/08 at 11:43pmI just got back from San Francisco where it was really warm the first 4 days of my 5 day trip. When I got off the subway tonight and walked towards my apartment, I could barely breathe because the cold air was piercing my lungs.

I can't wait for it to get cold here in the Bay Area. Yesterday it finally was a cool crisp day. Now I can start baking. Autumn and Winter are my favorites and they're so short lived.

Posted: 11/20/08 at 10:27amKasie, the blueberry muffins turned out great. I used my 3 yr old granddaughter's recipe: she put cinnamon in a batch she was making and they make the muffins even more delicious. Now I floow her recipe every time I make what she calls "Boo Bays" (Translation: "blueberries")

Posted: 11/20/08 at 7:24pmWinter technically begins on December 21. I'm over it too, even though we've only had this cold weather for a few days. Strangely enough, it wasn't as biting cold as I expected it to be today.
