He is so annoying. I'm going to hang upside, good for you do it in your house hopefully someone will forget to check on you. I'm going to stay underwater for a day, why the F**K would you do that?

The only reason I responded to this thread was to share that I've never been a fan. Truthfully, my feelings are even deeper and more negative. But, I just didn't want to be a downer. So, I'm just leaving it at that.

I actually wasn't even aware he was in the middle of one of his tricks until they showed him swinging around upside down looking exactly like a side of beef on one of those hooks into the freezer!

His next stunt will be his toughest. It is suicidal.

He will come on this board & praise GWB to the sky.This stunt(hanging upside down)is plain stupid & could really hurt him physically for the rest of his life.

He did a car ad back many moons ago. When the ad first appeared, I thought "hey, he's quite hot!". Then the ad got ubiquitous and annoying, and Blaine got the same way, and I can't think of him as hot anymore. It must have been about ten years ago now, that ad. I wonder what car it was?

Car ads are terrible. I think the Blaine one was just coming off the back of that period where car ads were all terrifically deep and profound and generally featured songs like 'Search for the Hero Inside Yourself' or 'True Colours'. Nowadays they're either "funny" or "tewwibly tewwibly clever" (I think the "sexy" period ended a year or so back). But still the only ads I remember are Corsa ads (because they were actually funny but are now tremendousl annoying in the name of funny) or Skoda ads (when they utilised a sense of humour and the Skoda's reputation and came off as genuinely amusing). Well, I remember TONS of the ads. But those are the only ones where I can remember what the car was as well. XD

I only ever hear his name mentioned, maybe once every two years or so. On the list of things that I'm sick of (a fairly monumental one), David Blaine wouldn't even appear.
