I don't pay any attention to any of his "antics". I focus on things that interest me. I don't care.

I was sick of David Blaine before it was cool to be sick of David Blaine.

On the other hand, you kind of have to respect the guy for making so much money and holding so much of New York City hostage while doing absolutely nothing.

I've always wanted to make some flyers to distribute wherever he's doing his latest non-event, they'd say "DAVID BLAINE, GET A JOB, MCDONALDS IS ALWAYS HIRING."

I used to listen to Howard Stern years ago, and Blaine would be a frequent guest, of course. The guy speaks in a quiet MONOTONE. The most boring person to listen to on earth. It was like he would only put forth the least amount of effort to speak. His ennui made me want to slap him across the face.

Yeah, Jane, that monotone he uses is so boring. Whenever I see him I always feel like he's trying very very hard to be very very mysterious, and he doesn't make it work at all, he only comes off as stupid.

Remember when magicians and the like used to, you know, do stuff? Illusions and whatnot? Entertain?

David Blaine, pull a rabbit out of your @sshole or something, or get off my television.

i just heard on tv that tomorrow he's catching a bullet in his mouth.

I remember seeing that stunt on That's Incredible! That is so 70s. What will he do next? Wear rainbow suspenders?

In all fairness, I've never watched David Blaine do anything. I lost interest in these silly stunts during the reign of Copperfield. I found his self-important sleazefests revolting.

David Blaine is a hack and a liar. He's not actually hanging upside down for 60 hours. I was at CP yesterday night, and he was standing on a crane eating, peeing, and chatting with an interviewer for 15 minutes. He then proceeded to hang vertically on his harness and had his head held by one of his support staff members... for 30 minutes. How long was he upside down for?? Enough time to film the 30 second promo to be aired during Dancing with the Stars. When I pointed out how Blaine wasn't actually performing the task he's supposed to, the crowd quickly turned on me, so I had to leave.

And I know this is totally random, but what was up with the large orthodox Jewish congregation that kept giving him the peace sign?? Is Blaine a leader of peace?

I would love for someone to distribute a video of him NOT hanging upside down during the time that he was supposed to have been doing that.

I prefer him. He's hotter, too.

I'd watch him if he made his pants disappear.

His street magic special is pretty impressive- it's just these huge "Stunts" I find annoying.

Yeah, I like that stuff, too Joe. But like Reg said, there he's actually DOING stuff.

There was a guy on CBS Sunday Morning the other day - he was a "chamber magician" or something - now HE was great.
