Never personally met her, but judging by interviews, appearances, no, I don't get any snobby/snooty vibe from her at all.

btw, if you haven't seen Anchorman, rent it. It is a very funny movie and CA is terrific in it, a very fine comedic turn. She cracked me up more than Ferrell in the movie.

I spent a bit of time in her company when she was shooting an MOW in Toronto a few yrs back & found her a bit shy & easily overwhelmed when the wrong kinda attention is paid. Otherwise she was very sweet, kind & concerned re all of the cast & crews well being.

I didn't watch the Tonys and I haven't seen Sweet Charity, but the girl drives me crazy. I saw her in View From the Top and was just amazed that somebody cast this piece of flesh. She wasn't funny in that at all.

About her comment on the TV Guide channel...

When she was in it, the show was on. When she couldn't be in it anymore, the show closed. When she said she could do it, the show was back on. That seems enough to justify the comment "People just didn't want to see the show without me in it" to me.

I see no problem with her telling the truth.

She's the show.

HOWEVER, I do see a problem with her using a credit card to pay for her iced blended. I HATE WHEN PEOPLE USE THEIR CREDIT CARDS TO PAY FOR A $5 OR LESS ITEM!!!!

Honestly...carry a little mad money, folks!

I always use a debit card for anything I possibly can. I hate carrying cash or having to get $20 plus fees out of the nearest ATM to buy something for $2. I was mugged 4 times in the early 90s and that pretty much quenched the desire to carry cash. Cards are safer and can be cancelled quickly. Once cash is stolen, you're SOL.
