Well, that's good. I always need my faith in theatre restored. If only I could get to London to HAVE it restored.

I'm stuck in the Mid-West...hardly the place to see quality theatre. I've been begging the 'rents to take me to NYC for a while now, but nooo.

good girl! go nyc on your own! I flew across at 18 and spent 5 days there on my own at 18... i was meeting someone so i was completely alone but i had a wail of a time. No one to argue about what to do first, what show, where to eat, when to go home other than the voices in my head!

In the Mid-west, you have Chicago... definitely good quality theatre. And there's always tours...NYC is just so much more of an experience, though. Save your dollars!

There is Chicago, that's true. I get car-sick, though, lol. It's just hard to get out. I'm trying to force my best friend, who is much less of a theatre person, to go to NYC with me. We'll see.

find something they like in a show i.e my best friend hates musicals with a passion, she loves Lea Salonga though so will listen to her. She loves Mel Brooks so went to see the producers with me... find something they like and you'll get a lot further than you telling them why YOU like it! Manipulation is the key

She doesn't have major problems with theatre, I mean, she comes see me in all my shows, but she gets bored really easily. I'll just force her, it's alright.

I'm getting annoyed now... my body clock is officially broken. I was up at 8am (i don't do am if i can help it!) to go to London after sleeping for only 4 hours. I felt tired at about 7 but couldn't sleep on the train and when i get home i felt tired about midnight and now it's 3am and i'm wide awake! I'm getting stressed about it now because i'm up at 11 at the lates tomorrow and then i'm out on the razzle... is anyone else having trouble sleeping or is it just me?
