Now that I know it's Zoey Slater from EastEnders, I will be watching!!!
"Yes. That would be fair. However, will Al Sharpton allow him to find work again. I don't believe he will."

So, now that Sharpton has declared Imus can co back to work will jimnysf declare Washington can go back to work?

If both he and Imus are truly sorry, they should be left alone to make a living. I hope Mr Sharpton is telling the truth. He has yet to apologize for his rantings on TV regarding the Brawley and Duke fantasies. Time will tell.
Oh, Captain Obvious Almighty Fiction Houseboy is going to be PISSSSSSED!!!! Anyone in contact with him?

I'd like to see Captain_Obvious never work another day in his life. (As if he ever has.)
Jimmy, gay bashers are people who hit people they presume to be gay. It really diminishes the victims of actual violence when that word is thrown around where it doesn't apply. Is it a slur? Yes. Is it offensive? Sure. But it's not a bashing.
It's like reading the main board. Somebody makes a negative comment about a crap show and it's a chorus of, "Ohmahgahhhhd, don't BASH Wicked." Although if it were possible to punch a show, I'd smack that one until it bled. And then I'd laugh.

I feel that way about Hairspray.
Frankly, I oftentimes wish there was some sort of gay Al Sharpton out there, acting up and just making everyone crazy. Kind of like PETA. I don't agree with all their tactics, but I'm glad someone's out there doing it.

Armistead Maupin ruffles feathers, which I can't even quite believe. Big ol' lovable, cuddly Army M?
Larry Kramer fits the bill, Kringas.
After his actions on Grey's Anatomy, I have no interest in him at all. He comes off as an arrogant punk.

You know, I thought Larry Kramer, Sueleen, but the thing about him is that he's not a household name. I'd say (and I could be wrong) a sizable portion of the country has an opinion about Al Sharpton, but I'm not sure how many even know who Kramer is.

You know what Ivan the Wonderful (new screen name as of 7/17)would say the N in NBC stands for, dontchya?
I've no clue who Larry Krammer is. But then, I had no idea who Isaiah Washington was either, until he called someone (I still have no clue who that is), a "faggot". I do, however, know who the new Bionic Woman is!

And that's how you'll live the rest of your life, JohnBoy: cluelessly ever after.
Because these people are all so important and fascinating!

I've no clue who Larry Krammer is.
Case in point.
Well, I looked him up; and while his name was meaningless to me, I certainly am aware of most of his work. I've even seen the film Here We Go Round The Mulberry Bush!
Did you find anything in your research on his importance in the front lines of the battle for AIDS awareness, research and treatment?
Would you ever consider doing that kind of research BEFORE smugly and comfortably belittling the concerns of others?

I'd think Gay Sex in the 70s was more your speed.
You felt belittled because I never heard of Lary Kramer. Boy are you fvcked up!
I LOVE that documentary! My bf calls it "PalJoey: The Chicken Years"
