"LOS ANGELES — Isaiah Washington, the embattled star fired from ABC's Grey's Anatomy last month, is back to work — at NBC.
Washington will guest-star on the network's high-profile remake of 1970s drama Bionic Woman this fall, and has signed a development deal to star in a potential action drama he pitched to the network for the 2008-09 TV season.
The network is expected to announce the deal today at a TV critics meeting here."

an early promo shot from his proposed show seems to be much more gay friendly than some may have expected...

not only should he be banned from ever appearing on american television again by an act of congress, kringas, he should be made to stare at video of harvey fierstein and bruce villanche having sex for 20 hours a day for seven weeks. the other four hours he must have his eyes sealed and listen to the barbra farewell concert (ver. 7.12b) at volume level 9 on constant repeat. at the end of that time he will serve as personal piss-boy to barney frank for a period of not less than 2 years wearing variations of the above outfit.

This new version stars Michelle Ryan, better known to PBS fans as Zoe on the British soap "EastEnders". Unless Jaime Sommers is going to be doing a lot of crying, the star wattage ain't Meryl Streep if you get my drift.
