I can get on one of my accounts, but not the other...damn it.
It's been down for a while. I created my page a while back and never really cared about it. I created it to keep an eye on my friend's daughter. I made several friends from here and then I would get the occasional random person trying to get 50,000 friends. Then in the last two weeks I have been contacted by SO many friends from WAY back. Best friends from high school and church. We are already planning a Christmas get together. My parents place, I will cook, it will be fabulous. We were in midconversation about it. I am an early planner, but we are all over the nation. Is it back up yet?

well at least we all know that we probably don't have any recent comments since everybody's myspace site is out! Always look on the bright side of life...right? As for those who haven't checked their myspace in days, it must be torture but it will be over soon. Hell, it's torture for me and I've checked it about 6 times today! (should I admit that?)
Myspace infuriates me, whenever I actually go out and have a life and come back after two or so days of not logging in, it breaks down. Then I waste hours by my computer waiting to see if the site is up yet. Blahh.
I love that we're all on BWW complaining about the lack of Myspace access. What a way to spend a day, eh?
It's even worse here, mind you, because somebody burst a water main in our neighborhood. No running water and no Myspace. The apocalypse must be coming.
I've been periodically trying to log in, and at first the message went from "Sorry! An unfortunate error blah blah blah" to "Login disabled while we fix some database problems."
Okay, sure, fine, but when I tried again just now, I got:
What's with the attitude, Tom? If we can't log in, we can't bloody well email you, now can we?
(Okay, it's blurry, but it says, "Please do NOT email me about this. Just wait it out." Nice.)
I always get the impression that Tom is kind of a bitch. Everything he posts is so pretentious. I'm like, Look dawg. You should be licking our shoes for how cool we've made you.
I deleted Tom from my friends list awhile back. That's right. Take THAT biatch!

Just know- nobody can get on so you won't have any new messages and no new bulletins.
You're not missing anything.

SweetQ, that's exactly where I was going with my last post. Good to know someone is there with me on the same brain wave. But I am anxious to get on for the simple fact that I'm an addict.
i just want to be the first person back on when it comes back, it's like a race.
I'm not really worried about new comments/messages/whathaveyou. It's just that MySpace is in my toolbar, so I keep clicking on it out of habit. It was only mildly annoying until Tom got all attitudinal.
Thank God Lisa Whelchel scrapbooks.

If anyone is still up and still cares, MySpace is back up again. Or it is for me.
Not me. =[

It will let me log on and look at my profile and that's all. I spoke too soon.
On 19 July, Rupert Murdoch bought myspace for $580m.
That WAS Tom leaving with the bags full'o money.
I wonder if this 'power outage' is just the changing of the guard.
Hm... this is a little worrisome:
"...earlier in July News Corp announced the launch of Fox Interactive Media, a hub for Fox news, sport and entertainment in the US.
Myspace, News Corp says, could drive traffic to Fox Interactive Media.
And most importantly, Myspace has detailed logs of its users' preferences, online behaviour and personal information.
That could help the company tailor what it does to the ever-more-discerning market which Mr Murdoch believes he has identified."
What myspace means to Murdoch
Am I the only one with a blank profile? All my info got deleted! This is BS!
I'm sure it'll be back soon.
I'm more concerned on whether or not I want Rupert Murdock and Fox to have detailed logs of my preferences, online behaviour and personal information. I really don't want to have anything to do with Mr. Murdock.
I always have a problem with it... My biggest problem is that my old profile that I deleted last year came back with everything in tact - YET i cant access it. I emailed myspace several times about it, yet no responses.
so even if you delete your myspace... there is a chance it will come back.
ugh.

Now it says this:
"Login is temporarily disabled while we fix some database problems. We'll be back shortly. 7/23/2006"
I wonder what the definition of "shortly" is.

No- that was a different message. I forget what it said- it was something like it.
But, I got on a few hours ago.
