My Gidget is smaller than the bunnies and is scared to chase them too! But she's not too scared to bark at them and show them who's boss

Liotte, I'm so sorry to hear about Goldie. All good thoughts for peace for you and your family. Goldie will have the rest and release she needs from a body that can no longer serve her.
But she's had a long and loving life, and has created beautiful and precious memories for all of you. I've been down this same road many times before. I truly feel for you.

Just spoke with my dad. He was able to hold Goldie as she was put to sleep. She didn't suffer and went in peace.
Dad buried her in our backyard (about 1/2 acre from the house) about an hour ago.

I'm glad to hear that her passing was peaceful. I hope you find some comfort in that.

liotte, again honey, I am so sorry.
Nothing will make this much easier, but the fact that your dad was there with her means she knew that she was loved through the very last moment.
