I just missed the first Zoom, as I was born just a few months after it stopped airing. I had a shirt that looked a lot like the Zoomer shirt, however, and my mean older sisters would taunt me with the theme song every time I wore it.
Jared was the one who died. He was attending Julliard.

About 10 years ago, a group of my friends (guys and girls) all bought striped turtlenecks from the Gap (no polo shirts then) and went as the Zoom kids for Halloween. We had Zoom nametags and I bought a sketchbook with Zoom Art. It was fun, but the best was to see people's reactions. If they were older, it was "wow the Zoom kids, what a great idea" and they would do the Bernadette arm thing. The younger ones just looked at us like we were crazy.

Zoom! Oh man I watched that show allll the time and tried to do all of the activites they do lol.
and for the record, I can still speak ubbu dubbi too! hahaha, good times and great memories!
