(It is supposed to be 2012, but that's awfully hard to see.)

The graphics design in general remind me of a patch I had on my Girl Scout uniform when I was little.

It always looked like either the letters L O over the letter R.

The top could also be numbers 1 0.

But the bottom definitely looks like an R.
Check out the logo on the orange thing's chest, it's really distinctive.

You're correct Billy, but only by default, as there isn't an English team in the games.

The logo is a stylized representation of "2012." The 2 is the shape that has "London" across the bottom. To its right (Lisa's head) is a 0. The lower portion is a 1 and a 2.
