I can't stand him, but if otis33 wanted to listen to him when he made love to me that would be okay.

I'm torn. I love Jason Mraz but every single thing PGenre likes sucks. I can only assume P has never heard Jason Mraz.

Jason is my absolute favorite artist of all time. "10,000 Motherf***ers" is one of the most beautiful songs I've ever heard. My favorite of his.

So nice to see all the love 'round here for Jason!
ColorTheHours, you are SO right, as someone who prides himself on knowing just about every Mraz song, "10,000 Motherf*ckers" is undoubtedly in the Top 10 of all time. I would ALSO put the sequel he wrote to it, "Childlike Wildlife", in his Top 10.
Other favorites of mine include: "All Dialed In", "The Only Life You Can Save", "God Rests In Reason", "Galaxy" and, my all-time favorite, "Miss Heather & Mr. Grey". None of those songs I listed are on any of his studio albums, though a few pop up on live albums. If you are a fan of his studio stuff I HIGHLY recommend seeking out the HUNDREDS of other, more controversial/edgy songs he has written as the studio likes Jason one way while Jason himself is quite different from the hippie/stoner image they like him to have.
Also, he promises a new album this year and has already laid down a bunch of tracks for it! SUPER excited! The new songs he has premiered in the last few months at concerts are some of his best ever, right up there with those great songs he wrote during his hot writing streak in '03-'04!

I've recently enjoyed a Mraz renaissance of my own...I really need to find these tracks you mention, Pgenre. They sound fantastic. I had an "If It Kills Me" (from the Casa Nova sessions) phase after last summer's fantastic Travis Wall routine on SYTYCD, and love "The Dynamo of Volition" as well. I need to delve deeper!

Now THAT is some social commentary with bite.

When one is easily imitated by fictional ass-rape victim Joseph Gordon-Levitt, one should not be termed a 'rock star'.
