You have to understand that my "Ragtime" experiece involved me driving to NY to see the orig. cast on a rainy day. I drove down...got there....parked....went in....No Stokes, No Audra, No Mazzie, No Friedman, No Judy Kaye....there was a page long print out of all the replacements, and I'm sorry to be harsh, but they were under-rehearsed, difficult to hear and seemed to be completely lacking emotion at all. I fould it to be long, boring and dumb. That said, I love the recording, but it was just not a pleasant experience in the theatre.

Thanks Princetom. That would suck. In my limited Broadway experience I have seen few understudies.
I've never since had a mass exodus like that.
OK -- an UGH is allowed! I wonder where the full cast was that day....
That's awful, Princeton. I've respect for understudies and all (and I'm sure you do too), but to have not one of the major principals there is certainly disappointing....
K..I think they all went across the street to see "The Lion King".
That's completely disappointing, especially since I can't hear anyone else sing Sarah. Ever.
Actually Boobs, LK was the biggest thing in the world at that point, I'm sure Audra was having difficulty getting a ticket. They may well have been there. I also found the Ford Center (Hilton Theatre) to have horrible acoustics.
where were you sitting, Princeton?
How much longer until the hair reaches its previous length, Undi-licious?
Princeton ...I agree with the accoustics...I always seem to have to listen harder when I see a show there..."Jesus Christ Superstar" the music seemed louder than the voices.
Cookie,
I remember sitting in row U of the orchestra. My companion leaned over and said "Ok, there are 50 people on stage, 25 musicians in the pit and $200 million poured into the theatre, how come I can't 'flippin' hear it!?

at least you didn't replace it with a parking lot.
Wow. That's a long time for hair growth... are you just still not used to it, Undi, or have you grown to disliking it?
!!! @-@!!! that was so mean!! *appalled and dismayed* That is no way to talk to one's Primo Hagelah!

Very mean indeed! Undi - I bet with the shorter length you have more texture and body making you as deliciously sexy as I envision!
My wife cut about 3 inches and it is divinely curly.

I didn't mean she had bad hair and bad glasses.
Sheesh. I should have said problems...:-P to you all.
And Undi is not a hagelah. She's an Undi and that's different.
Hags are generally ugly and want to be around cute boys. Undi is pretty and gives me ceramic diner coffee mugs.
One is a keeper, the other is clearly not.
So brdlwyr..did the ugly beast come into work today?

Anyone as freaking hungry as me? Here is it 11:20 which is too early to eat. I could eat a jack rabbit.
wait... the prescription is off too? Or are you just not used to the new presscription? I get that when I have new glasses.
Undi is a pretty pretty princess!!!
Undi is the prettiest of the pretty princesses.
And even when she's being a PP, she's still pretty deserving of the attention.

BB - yes, they caught the mouse last night at 7:16 p.m.
She is here and her face is not bruised. I was being quite mean. She is unfortunate looking, but very nice. She does a great job when she not missing work due to a mouse or the once a month reason.
