Congrats on your mini, Bway. I have a an off-brand mini and I love having something so small carry so much music. I no longer put entire albums on--just my favorite songs. And since everything is on my computer, I can change what's on the mini whenever I want.
Addy--once we get you one, you'll be hooked.

I would not dare even buying one - it would be a fight to keep it out of my kids hands.
Hey guys,
The Ipod Mini's name is Tobey.
That way I can go around telling everyone I have Tobey in my pocket. Right.Where.I.Want.Him. :)
The next time I see you, bway, we have to introduce Tobey and Idina to each other
There is a poster on this board whose content:meaningless drivel ratio is about 2:98... It drives me crazy.
Why must this person post the contents their most recent bowel movement, or the fact that they just left someone a voice mail on a world-wide message board?
They are a self-aggrandizing idiot. There are precisely four people in the world that care about your conversation. Take it to AIM. No one else cares. You are wasting bandwith and annoying people.
I just needed to say that. Thank you.
Cookie..
Is it Idina or Shoshideden?

Wow -CK cranky this morning?
How do high schools handle the "rape" song in The Fantastiks?
*Addy checks her recent posts to make sure she hasn't written meaningless drivel*
ck, you'd tell me if it was me you were referring to, right?!
brdlwyr, I don't know the answer to that, but I can tell you that a current junior high production of Guys and Dolls has eliminated the song 'Take Back Your Mink'. Probably appropriate.
When I did "Guys and Dolls" in my Catholic High School, there was a battle over "Take Back Your Mink." My director won and the song went on, but it was a slim victory.
"Take Back Your Mink"... wow.
When we did that show at my public school, the "Hot Box" girls' cosutmes were practically Scores worthy. Talk about camel-toe. My adolescence was founded in the orchestra pit.

We did Gemini at a Jesuit univsersity and the administration about had a cow after opening night.
WOW -- I guess my high school was pretty progressive -- my senior year we did Pippin with NO cuts -- seduction dance included -- even boy/boy love bumps....of course it created a scandal and an outrage....wait, we did that show a year earlier.
Wow. My high school had no theatre department whatsoever. I didn't even know I was a singer until my junior year of college when my shower antics got the attention of my roommate (who was in choir).
He convinced me to audition for the Spring musical and, voila, bwaysinger was born.
Cookie, Idina and Tobey need a double date! I wish I had gone with the Blue Ipod to match Tobey's eyes but my roomie got it, so I went with classy silver...
I hear that "love bumps" can be cleared up with a prescription topical cream.
My high school production of Guys and Dolls was uncut. But, it was decades ago, and they were less PC then.
K, I did Pippin, too. Perhaps my favorite, ever!
Although, I had fun as Lola in Damn Yankees.
I went to an uber-nerd school. We were only exposed to classical music during music appreciation class. Though I think there was a chorus. But people only did that to show they had extracurricular activity to get into the uber-nerd society to put onto their college applications.
bway: I was going to go for the silver as well, until I decided I could use more color in my accessories...
"Recline yourself, resign yourself, you're through..."
Wow. That was easy.
