I resisted the urge to splurge on a really expensive one...then they showed me a mini that had been opened, still in near-excellent condition (looks like someone brushed it up against a few things without a sleeve on it)...so I bought a nice Ipod mini and a case for less than a fresh-out-of-the-box one would cost.
And I already have over 300 songs on it and it's barely 1/3 full, so I think I'll be doing fine.

The Dell will last longer... (Considering the proprietary challenges that the IPOD creates for content providers)

Did you know that Apple makes almost no money from iTunes, it's just a way to sell iPods. The RIAA gets the largest cut.

The cost of Ipods is already noticibly down. Bwaysinger..mine has a small scratch across the screen that I put there. It drives me crazy because otherwise it is so cute! That'll teach me to put it in my man-purse.
