Okay, I am only into some reality tv that has to do with dance/singing and maybe some BB. which is by far enough, but I had to tune in to this Jake/Vienna interview last night to see what all this break up hype was about. Now, I knew of him before from DWTS and stories from other shows. but....holy cow. I don't care what people think of this Vienna chick. Jake is a smug, controlling piece of work. I could tell by his body language and his reactions. I totally believed the girl. You could even see it on DWTS when he would tell the choreographer "stop undermining me" since when is teaching someone undermining? I am sure there are women on here who know more about this Vienna woman people hate, but that interviewer then has the audicity to make it all a "thanks for being honest Jake" show. what??? it was a stacked interview, and he showed his true colours as far as I am concerned and I believe her.

There are always three sides to every story: his, hers and the truth.

I think they both came off poorly -- and should both be embarrassed.

If we're not having fun, then why are we doing it? These are DISCUSSION boards, not mutual admiration boards. Discussion only occurs when we are willing to hear what others are thinking, regardless of whether it is alignment to our own thoughts.

I can see that they both came off poorly, but not knowing anything about her, I was more into her side of the story. I just can't see anyone going on national television and admitting this man didn't want to kiss her, hug her, talk to her family or treated her like a child and she allowed it for as long as she did. it could have been all drama. I think Joe came off poorly too and sided with Jake. It was the smug look on his face that turned me off. I believed her. I think her side is the truth, if i had to choose, but i do agree with your statement about there being three sides. I believe her about his anger because he admitted it and he treated Chelsea the same way on DWTS. although, heavily edited, you can't edit what people actually say.

All three of them came off poorly. I just don't get the appeal of host Chris Harrison. Never have, never will.

I never watched a moment of any Bachelor or Bachelorette, but I caught this Jake and Vienna thing and couldn't looks away. He's either gay or a sociopath; she is deranged and even though he is a dick, she needed to shut the eff up while he was talking.

And I mean this nicely - I'm assuming Vienna just doesn't take to camera well, because they seemed mismatched in the looks department.

It was in the middle of last night's Bachelorette. I was flipping channels and they kept saying the Jake and Vienna thing was coming up, so I stopped to watch because I love watching crazy people meltdown.

Missed it. I was noshing on nachos and totally engrossed in the wonderful LEAVE HER TO HEAVEN (have you seen it? It totally rocks!). So, yeah, I missed the showdown betwen the chewed up Barbie and the pushy bottom.

I just watched it on abc.com.

I was never a fan of Vienna but Jake revealed himself to be a controlling prick. I don't think he did himself any favors by doing that interview. That last time when he yelled at her and told her to stop interupting him it seemed like he was a heartbeat away from hitting her. I actually felt sympathy for her.

I bet all of the other women from his season feel like they dodged a bullet.

I don't know. Not necessarily. I know plenty of heterosexual couples who did not have sex before they were married. I don't know his religious views but a lot of conservative Christians don't believe in sex before marriage....but those people don't usually live with their fiancees either.

My coworker just showed me the cover of Star Magazine that says he had a secret date with a man. Not really a reliable source but...you never know.

Tom, they were having sex, but then stopped. He claimed he then wanted to wait until marriage and/or he was on a fast and could not have sex anymore. Never watched the show, but heard the rumours through TMZ and Entertainment Tonight. But I watched the interview to see a good cat fight. Piper, I completely agree with you. If you watched Jake's body language and facial expressions you could tell he was lying and full of it. Unless Vienna is a great actress, I bought her side of the story. The host came across very unsympathetic towards her. A truly one sided interview.

Jake's job requires so little personal time that I can see him not having the slightest clue about in relationships..... or so much as selling his side of the story without passive aggressive and patronizing attitudes in both tone and body language. I did not even like Vienna but I bought her story. I remember on the finale of the Bachelor, the other finalist, forgot her name and I assume she is the current Bachelorette had a sit-down with Jake on the live tapping and the way Jake was acting around her was hardly how I would expect a man who chose another girl over her to act.

So he just stopped? Why was he on a fast? His awkwardness was worse than I thought the few times I watched The Bachelor.

My thoughts after last night's interview? Vienna is a whining cry-baby who has a man face and crossed eyes. And she doesn't let anyone get a word in edge-wise. However, Jake revealed himself to be a controlling prick. They both looked like idiots.

I think after months of bad press and haters Vienna wanted to tell her side of the story and Jake still tried to control it with his (eff, i wish i had a still of that smarmy pfft face he used as a defense!) expressions. I don't blame her and believe he would have done it anyway, like he said. I also can imagine just being so angry at both Jake and whatshisface defending him she would cry. I probably would. "I am so mad at your right now, you disgust me" eff you, you idiot. Sorry, but even though he flew last weekend he isn't flying full time and is clearly in LA to pursue a career in entertainment so to call her out on wanting attention and fame is laughable. and as far as this they had sex and then he wanted to wait until marriage. whatever. you don't rewind. Then he asks about her gay designer and why he was in their apartment but talked to him? People expect that of her it seems but whatever cred he had left, it's gone. I think he lost a lot of it on DWTS with his holier than thou controlling nature. No doubt in my mind he controlled the game, was verbally abusive and has anger issues. She is probably not perfect but then he could have just called it off or let her go. I also think she looks a bit like Caissie Levy

Allie or Ali ...yeah left for her job, but accepted to be the Bachelorette. from what i have seen she is annoying.
