SNAFU - that was more of a rhetorical exclamation of disbelief -- some of those sketches go on FOREVER.

Agree the Gilly character sucks gas. Should be permanently jetisoned. I found myself actually remembering Cyrano:"O Sir, What you COULD have said!" Jane is a wonderful actress and as noted the bits where she was actually allowed some better writing ( the monolouge, the New Boyfriend Talkshow) she was great. Sad to see so much potential wasted.

Eh, I thought the show was mostly hit. When the Glee sketch began, I was first happy because they were getting it out of the way early, and then was overjoyed with the addition of Gilly, because I effing love Gilly.

Hey SNAFU, you're our guy in the know - why don't Kristin Wiig and Jason Sudekis do the A-Holes anymore? I LOVED them.

Phyllis, I don't know really. Sometimes they just get tired of the characters, or Lorne does.

Sometimes though they don't tire of the characters soon enough. I too happen to love Gilly. For some reason I find her one of Kristen's funnier creations.

I thought Jane came across as a total pro, and I'll renew my desire to see her cast as Miss Hannigan.

SNL has never known when to end a character. Church Lady was funny until it wasn't anymore, but that didn't stop them from beating the character into the ground. Pat was another character that should have ended sooner than it did.

If anyone ever tells you that you put too much Parmesan cheese on your pasta, stop talking to them. You don't need that kind of negativity in your life.
