SO. I have pretty much been in love with Jim Sturgess since the very first time I started listening to the Across The Universe soundtrack. Then I actually finally SAW Across The Universe, and it only solidified my love for him all the more. Last night I saw The Other Boleyn Girl, and I was pretty much amazed at the fact that he took... oh, about 15 minutes of screentime maybe (if even that).. and made George one of the most memorable characters in the movie. I've not seen 21 yet, but I shall be seeing it as soon as it comes to a theater near me, and I have no doubt that I will love him in that too!
So basically, I know I can't be the only one who thinks that this adorable man is one of the very best young up and coming actors right now
And what really impresses me is that it doesn't seem like he has done a whole lot of acting before! The impression I get is that he's mostly a musician, which shows because he has a fantastic, GORGEOUS voice. But he's also a REALLY fierce actor. REALLY fierce. As in... if he keeps doin' what he's been doing and keeps and growing even more, he's surely got an Oscar in his future.
So, anyone else care to join me in spreading the Jim love? :)

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

(In a good way, of course). They played a clip of him and Evan Rachel Wood singing "Ticket to Ride" and I swear I have never heard so much squealing in my life! All the little teenyboppers were going bonkers. I can't blame them, I guess, as he is very adorable.
