Why did Joan spend a summer at a sanatarium? Sorry for all the questions I've missed more episodes than I thought.

I don't like the new girl. I think Grace is a more interesting best friend for Joan and a much more interesting characterization.

at the end of last season, Joan got very ill. It turned out she had Lyme Diseas, which, among other things, can cause hallucinations. She began to wonder if she had actually really talked to God, or if it was all in her head. She had a bit of a nervous breakdown, so they sent her "Mental Acres".

And if you hadn't figured it out, Grace and Joan's geeky brother are now a couple, but only in secret. Grace made him sign a confidentiality agreement.

I thought the episode the other night was good. The one where the mother took a stand for the art project but alienated the other girl.

I also think they should show more little girl God. She's my favorite.

Great Show.The Best On TV right Now.
I loved the episode last year where God had her take the school Bully to the dance.He was caught "supposedly" drinking and tossed out.Joan got in the truck and left with him in a rage.He got a gun...Her father talks him down and in the end God tells her ...Action freezes in the hallway..So and so,she would have been the first.Then some guy...freezes again...he would have been second...another guy,would have tried to help his friend...then a teacher and several more students.Chilling episode...Earlier Joan said to her parents-Give him a break,maybe he is just trapped in a world that other people say he is in...But is really not like that...Kids can be very cruel growing up... Tonight, they had the first obviously gay God - the fella working in the school office.

Little brother Luke is making a nice transition from geek to sex symbol.

I'm finding Annie Potts' character aanoying.

I'm not liking Annie Potts much either. I keep waiting for the true colors to come out. She keeps being pretty nice but I just don't trust her.
