Well, he was just in rehab, so there could be any number of reasons.
Personally, I think his wife's voice is like nails on a chalkboard, but after being together 18 years, I hate to see them split.

People change, people grow apart, different career trajectories introduce new stresses to a relationship. There can be lots of reasons and just because you hit a certain anniversary it doesn't mean that you're marriage is now golden and will last forever.

I am still mourning the divorce of Bradley Cooper and Jennifer Espisito. That seemed like a match made in heaven.
